Drop 01!

We've been talking about it for a while and the time is now. Here is the first of many product 'drops' we've procured to round out our vision of smart loungewear for living in comfort and balance. All added items are creations of women-owned, eco-friendly, small production companies designing styles aligned with the low-key, high vibe, soft elegance we love.
Rewilding, retreating, rehabilitating, reconnecting with self and with nature, whatever you choose to call it,... we honor the time-outs and in-between chapters of our lives that require courage and self-inquiry to move through and to grow. We support the work and bravery required to unshed and rediscover, to awaken and to soften. To lay down the weight of generations before us, never having known the opportunity to heal. Never having had the tools, time or insight.
We know that what world needs now is not another clothing line; Another brand that telegraphs how hip, sharp and selective we are in our sartorial decisions. But we might be ready for a shift in thinking, and we’re here to curate the cornerstones of a new wardrobe, meant to be lived in, not tucked away for a day in the future, more special than the present. We invite you to get curious and question why you wear what you wear. We invite conversations about all the whys to our behavior but for now let's focus on this.
The act of dressing / adorning oneself holds the capacity to become a new and visceral experience. Once we align with and understand the intention of the makers behind the finished product, the tactile connection of skin to fiber becomes something- else. A real-time experience, a fresh layer of purpose.
In our first drop of lines apart from pants, we introduce to you the woman behind the gorgeous marbled fabric Eye Love Pillows, which we have categorized under Self- Care. She is Melissa Michelsen, owner and designer of LOVE MERT, creator of the fabric and pillow. Her collections of self care products and home goods are a culmination of life long loves. Growing up in the natural surroundings of Vermont, she recalls building elaborate forts in the wooded forest, collecting glass marbles at flea markets, painting, throwing clay and weaving before heading west. Having made her way through towns she had never heard of with only a car full of belongings, Melissa remains unapologetic in her wanderlust. She too, is feverishly creative and is a one-woman show who works from her studio in Lake Tahoe, CA.
Each pillow is approximately 5 x 7” made with hand marbled organic cotton fabric on top and raw silk on the bottom, which meets the skin. They are filed with organic lavender and flax seed and can be heated or chilled for additional sensation. Placed on top of the face with the point facing upwards, the shape of the heart hugs the brow snuggly so that you can breathe freely and enjoy your time-out.
We love this product and support the path of all artists bravely following their hearts.
