With a mission to create with a low-waste slow-production model, we consider every scrap inherently valuable and do not discard anything from the cutting room. We do not discern between the perfectly aligned print and the slightly off-line, or off dye variations that occur throughout the block printing process. Sometimes we will find handwriting (usually numbers of meters or color codes) written right on the fabric and we use these too. Why erase the story? The story, the labor of love, the long standing steeped tradition of this artisenal craft are exactly what we support.

Why would we not include these perfectly imperfect signs of the human hand?
